Beginning December 2nd and continuing through December 31st, pack everyone in to the car, tune the radio to KCSA 95.7 FM and drive the 2.5 miles along the banks of the Concho River through the "Tour of Lights." Featured are over 3 million lights in a number of holiday displays. The tour is open Fridays & Saturdays 6 pm to midnight. Sundays through Thursdays 6 pm to 10 pm. Tour begins on 1st Street & Abe (just north of the Post Office)

The Railway Museum of San Angelo and the Concho Valley Model Railroad Club, 703 South Chadbourne, presents the 14th annual Santa's Santa Fe Christmas. With a big kick-off Friday, November 26, the show will be open every Friday and Saturday through the 18th of December. The doors open to a Winter Wonderland of holiday decorations inside and out of the Historic Depot with beautifully decorated trees with model trains of every size running on several different layouts from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. each Friday and Saturday. During the show a special Christmas story for children will be presented at 7:00 p.m. Santa will be at the Depot every SHOW from December 4th through the 18th so children of all ages can talk to him and his helpers. Admission: Adults $4 and $2 for those under 12 with no charge for children under 4.

Celebrating Chinese New Year is a tradition at the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts. Families can participate in hands-on art activities, which include shadow puppets, creating a good luck dragon, a gold fish kite and visitors will even be able to share a special New Year's wish. Visitors will also get to try some basic Tai Chi techniques demonstrated by local Tai Chi master, Steve Haidinger and others from Tai Chi Concho. Cycris Ho will be on hand demonstrating calligraphy and students from Goodfellow Air Force Base will be teaching some basic Chinese. The Railway Museum of San Angelo and the Concho Valley Model Railroad Club, 703 South Chadbourne, presents the 14th annual Santa's Santa Fe Christmas. With a big kick-off Friday, November 26, the show will be open every Friday and Saturday through the 18th of December. The doors open to a Winter Wonderland of holiday decorations inside and out of the Historic Depot with beautifully decorated trees with model trains of every size running on several different layouts from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. each Friday and Saturday. During the show a special Christmas story for children will be presented at 7:00 p.m. Santa will be at the Depot every SHOW from December 4th through the 18th so children of all ages can talk to him and his helpers. Admission: Adults $4 and $2 for those under 12 with no charge for children under 4.
