The art projects were completed during art classes and in classrooms with their teachers and during after-school enrichment classes with art instructors. A wide variety of media and content will be displayed. The exhibit will open with a reception, March 21st (during art walk) at 119 West 1st Street and the public is invited to attend. Light refreshments will be served and there will be a special Art Walk 5-year Anniversary drawing for those who attend. The show runs through April 13th. The Kendall Art Gallery will feature the art work of Fort Concho Elementary School, Kindergarten through 5th grades. The art projects were completed during art classes and in classrooms with their teachers and during after-school enrichment classes with art instructors. A wide variety of media and content will be displayed. The exhibit will open with a reception, March 21st (during art walk) at 119 West 1st Street and the public is invited to attend. Light refreshments will be served and there will be a special Art Walk 5-year Anniversary drawing for those who attend. The show runs through April 13th. Gallery hours are Saturday 10am - 4pm, Sunday 1-4pm, and Wednesday 9am - 1pm. Most shows are free to the public and donations afre gratefully accepted. FMI: Visit website posted above.

Bunker Bash
The East Angelo Lions Club will hold it's 15th annual Lee Lopez Memorial Bunker Bash on Friday, March 29th at Quicksand Golf Course. Registration starts at 12:00 pm with shotgun start at 1:30 pm. Four person select shot with $70 entry fee per person or $280 per team. Mulligans available at 2 for $10. 2-3 flights will be available depending on number of teams using quicksands tournament handicap system. Included are closest to the pin prize on all par 3's and long drive contest prize. Barbeque sandwich or tuna sandwich lunch with all the fixings will be provided. Children 12 and under are invited to the annual Sunset Mall Easter Egg Hunt. Sunset Mall will hide 4,000 eggs throughout the Sunset Mall common area. The event is free. Children are welcome to hunt while supplies last. The egg hunt will start at 9:00 a.m. and it is best to arrive early. Enter through the main Sunset Mall north or south entrances. The egg hunt starts before retailers open. The barrier will be released at 9:00 am for the hunt which is typically over very quickly. Kids are invited to Kid's World after the egg hunt, where they can make a free craft while supplies last or until 10:30 am in the Sunset Mall Community Room which is next to Dillard's Men.
