Celebrating Chinese New Year is a tradition at the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts. Families can participate in hands-on art activities, which include shadow puppets, creating a good luck dragon, a gold fish kite and visitors will even be able to share a special New Year's wish. Visitors will also get to try some basic Tai Chi techniques demonstrated by local Tai Chi master, Steve Haidinger and others from Tai Chi Concho. Cycris Ho will be on hand demonstrating calligraphy and students from Goodfellow Air Force Base will be teaching some basic Chinese.
