Art Thursdays at SAMFA

Every Thursday! Enjoy an afternoon of art making in the San Angelo Museum of Fine Art Education Studio! We always feature clay and watercolor, and every three weeks there are two new art projects to try. Visitors are welcome to drop in anytime between 3 pm and 6 p.m. Please allow at least 30 minutes to try all projects. FMI visit website.

The San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts is pleased to announce the opening of two new exhibits: A Voyage across Cultures: The Enduring Fascination of Chinese Export Porcelain and BIG: Large-scale Works from SAMFA's Collections. Exhibition through March 27th.

ASU Planetarium Show

Every Thursday at 7 pm & 8 pm. New shows monthly. Admission prices for shows are: $3 for adults and $2 for children, senior citizens and active military. There is no charge for ASU students, faculty and staff with university activity card.

Saturday, March 12 – Saturday, March 26. The Easter Bunny will be available for visitation and photos starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2016. Visitation is free and photos are available for purchase. Hours will be Monday-Saturday, 11 a.m. -8 p.m. and Sunday, 1 p.m.-5 p.m. Sunset Mall will be closed on Easter Sunday, March 27, 2016. The Bunny Spot will be located near the East Fountain by MasterCuts and is sponsored by Amerigroup.

Easter Egg Hunt

Sunset Mall, Amerigroup and KIXY 94.7 FM invite kids ages twelve and under to the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Sunset Mall. The hunt begins at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2016. The event continues while supplies last however it’s best to arrive early. The main Sunset Mall north and south entrance doors will be unlocked at 9:30 a.m. for the hunt. The egg hunt is followed by an Easter edition of Kids World where kids will be able to make a free craft. FMI visit website.
